Looking for a position in Urology?

  • Join an established team of physicians and APPs in Tacoma, WA

  • Open to Certified Physician Assistants

  • Enjoy a mix of clinic and inpatient to include rounding, ED consults, discharging, and OR time with 1st assist

  • Work in a growing practice that is procedure heavy for APPs, offering autonomy

  • Urology experience preferred

  • First assist with robotics experience is preferred

Position Summary

MultiCare Urology is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our well established, thriving program. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality urological care in an outpatient practice to include clinic visits, in-office procedures and may participate in surgery. Participation in call coverage responsibilities may be assigned.
It is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the growth of an integrated Urology practice with community partners across Puget Sound.Responsibilities
*Inpatient consults, ED consults, Rounding
*Clinic consults, follow ups and procedures
*Patient & Family education
*Pre & Post Op visits
*In-basket Management
*APP/staff onboarding and training
Requirements
*WA State Physician Assistant license required
*WA DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority required
*BLS for Healthcare providers - certification by AHA, required
*Surgical Experience Preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $164,800.00 - $194,600.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
