We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our Manufacturing Team in Sandpoint, ID! This position is responsible for operation of machines used for all machined product runs.
The ideal candidate will determine materials needed for each product and set up machines according to specifications.
Responsible for correct maintenance and cleanliness of machines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

  • Set up machine according to the instruction sheet and Bill of Material for the specific product.
  • Maintain machines according to required amounts for each order.
  • Reload materials as necessary.
  • Check registration to ensure conformity.
  • Accurately complete traveler and all other associated documentation for each product.
  • Ensure product quality and maintain low scrap rates.
  • Verify accuracy of pouch against written specifications.
  • Follow all Quality Control procedures.
  • Move product to the appropriate next stage of production.
  • Work with Engineering to accomplish spacing on machine layout.
  • Responsible for machine cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Responsible for minor repairs.
  • Regular attendance.
  • Abide by all safety and security rules set by the company and regulatory agencies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year of experience operating and maintaining manufacturing machines is strongly preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude required
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Experience reading and understanding regulations, standards, drawings and procedures.
  • Mathematical skills needed to count products
  • Good eye to hand coordination required
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems
  • Reading and comprehension skills required
  • Professional interpersonal skills in order to work with co-workers and other departments.
  • Detail oriented and accurate.

  • Ability to follow instructions with little supervision
  • Flexibility in order to adapt to frequent changes while remaining calm

Nissha Medical Technologies is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay for this position is $19.00-$20.00/hr. The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
