Key Records Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Kaba Ilco is seeking a Key Records Specialist in Rocky Mount, NC. The Key Records Specialistis responsible for the design, development, and maintenance ofkey records and master key systems. This role serves as a technical advisor to customers and internal teams, using specialized software to generate secure key codes and manage critical records. Beyond technical design, the specialist collaborates with internal and external customers by leadingtraining sessions, and handling comprehensive customer service and troubleshooting efforts to ensure the integrity and accuracy of access control systems.

Daily activities include, but are not limited to, order processing, researching legacy code records, and customer service.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Ability to develop and generate codes to meet customers' needs.
• Complete and maintain all files including reporting documents and all Master-key transactions.
• Facilitate virtual or in-person training of employees and customers on Master-key policies and code management as needed.
• Maintain and control all Master-key and material inventory inclusive of all supplies and equipment following proper key records protocol.
• Complete and audit worksheets necessary for use by the Combinators.
• Advise and assist customers and employees in the design and extension of master-keyed systems.
• Resolve customer related concerns, including order inquiries, pricing, and product troubleshooting.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Monitor, organize, and maintain keying system records and necessary codes that meet internal and external customer needs.

WHAT WE REQUIRE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years' of related work experience required; security hardware industry experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability of technical and analytical concepts and capabilities, and attention to details.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of SAP or ERP systems preferred.
• Knowledge of code generation policies and procedures preferred.
• Ability to adapt workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and modify changes in procedures and policies.
• Initiative to implement and complete new projects.
• Able to travel up to 10% as needed.
