dormakaba is seeking an Industrial Engineering Intern based in Indianapolis, IN (onsite). This role will report directly to the AVP, Industrial Engineering, AMERICAS with daily guidance provided by the Industrial Engineering staff members.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $19/hr. - $23/hr. (Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

• Apply Industrial Engineering principles to real world opportunities within a fast paced, vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly Operation
• Experience the proper use of Lean/OPEX tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Pull Scheduling (Kanban), Workstation Design, Standardized Work and Kaizen
• Participate in Structured Problem-Solving methodologies
• Lead small group improvement activities on the production floor
• Deliver a project report out to Plant Leadership and your peer group detailing a significant improvement project accomplished during your internship

• Interest in pursuing a career in Industrial Engineering or Operations
• Passion to identify and execute improvement opportunities
• Desire to engage with our teammates on the production floor, where the work is performed
• A learning mindset and a curiosity about the "why" behind the "what"

• Completed 2+ years of an Industrial Engineering curriculum
• Bilingual English/Spanish
