Moog's Corporate Talent Acquisition Team is hiring a Senior Talent Insights Analyst to join our team!

As the Senior Talent Insights Analyst, you will be a critical member of the Talent Acquisition team, supporting Moog's longrange strategic workforce strategy through data, insights, and forecasting. You will provide meaningful analysis and reporting that helps Moog anticipate talent needs, understand labor market dynamics, and make informed decisions about sourcing, internal mobility, and workforce investments across Military, Commercial, Industrial, and Space & Defense operating groups.

In this new role, you will enable improved visibility into workforce needs, skill gaps, and hiring priorities. You will provide stronger alignment between long-range business plans and recruiting capacity. Your role in our organization will be imperative in supporting better data-driven decisions around talent pipeline, internal mobility, and build/buy strategies. As a result of your efforts, you will enhance collaboration across Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, HR, and Finance.

This role can be fully remote for the right candidate.

To be considered for the Senior Talent Insights Analyst, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • At least five (5) years of prior relevant experience specifically in workforce analytics, HR analytics, financial analysis, business intelligence, and/or a related analytical role; experience in a complex or matrixed environment is preferred.

  • Experience with workforce or talent-related datasets; familiarity with ATS, HRIS (Workday experience is a plus), or workforce planning platforms.

  • Strong Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience using labor-market and workforce-analytics platforms such as Talent Neuron (and comparable tools like LinkedIn Talent Insights or Lightcast), as well as forecasting, or modeling techniques preferred.

  • Ability to translate complex data into executive-ready reports, which use clear narratives, streamlined visuals, and prioritized insights to guide leadership decision-making.

  • Familiarity with aerospace/defense industry workforce dynamics is a plus!

As a Senior Talent Insights Analyst, you will have responsibilities in four main areas:

Workforce Planning & Forecasting

  • Support strategic workforce planning activities across all operating groups by providing insights, data analysis, and coordination that enable leaders to make informed talent decisions. This includes analyzing workforce trends, forecasting talent needs, identifying capability gaps, and partnering with the Operating Group TA Leads to develop action plans that align with longterm organizational goals.

  • Conduct analysis on headcount plans, skill gaps, and workforce scenarios.

Talent & Labor Market Analytics

  • Perform internal and external labor market research to assess talent supply/demand, competitive benchmarks, and hiring trends.

  • Build predictive and descriptive models to support hiring forecasts and recruiter capacity planning.

Reporting & Dashboard Development

  • Analyze external talent market signals, internal skills and capability data, and future talent demand forecasts to provide strategic insights that inform workforce planning, capability development, and talent investment decisions.

  • Prepare executiveready reports and insights that translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations-delivered in a concise, visually polished format that highlights key trends, risks, and decisions needed.

Talent Strategy Support

  • Provide data to inform build vs. buy decisions (internal mobility, development pathways, external hiring).

  • Assist in evaluating sourcing strategies, location strategy decisions, and requisition prioritization.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $85,000.00-$140,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
