The Resource Management Strategic Business Architect is responsible for having a deep understanding of the business vision, goals and data support requirements for the Enterprise Resource Management Office (ERMO), including the Dayshape program. This role will provide support to internal teams, including client facing resources, to ensure smooth and efficient operations of ERMO solutions. This role is responsible for requirements, implementation and optimization of digital solutions that enable effective resource management within a professional services environment, bridging business needs and technical capabilities. Operational excellence in service delivery of ERMO digital solutions is the primary objective of this role.

Essential Duties

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Lead the business requirements gathering and design of enterprise resource management solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and firm standards.

  • Collaborate with functional consultants and technical teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

  • Serve as the primary solution owner for Dayshape, having full and complete knowledge of data integrations, system processes, and overall management of the user experience.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with business stakeholders to define solution requirements and partner with technology owners to architect successful solutions.

  • Engage with Dayshape vendor to understand current state solution and future product enhancements, informing leadership of any impacts to process and needs for change management.

  • Communicate risks, dependencies, and system limitations clearly to leadership.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a solution support team fostering collaboration and accountability.

  • Ensure timely decision-making and effective communication across stakeholders.

  • Promote a collaborative yet independent working environment where the team feels empowered to act in the best interest of the program because they have the knowledge to execute on their roles and have a confident path to have questions answered or escalate issues.

Governance & Quality Assurance

  • Identify and resolve system bugs, performance issues, and integration challenges across platforms (e.g., Dayshape, Workday).

  • Conduct periodic design reviews and ensure solutions continue to meet firm standards and best practices.

  • Monitor solution performance, quality assurance and implement continuous improvements.

  • Responsible for product support processes and procedures documentation and maintenance.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficient in MS Office products such as Word, PowerPoint and Visio, with advanced skills in Excel preferred

  • Ability to analyze and document backend system information such as data mapping and microservice components.

  • Knowledge of defect tracking processes and tools

  • Solution quality assurance processes and tools

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS SPECIFIC TO JOB

  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and consult effectively with employees at all levels

  • Strong knowledge of basic and advanced business analysis techniques and strategies.

  • Strong knowledge of product design and user experience design concepts.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities for system bugs and process gaps.

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking ability.

  • Effective communication skills both written and spoken.

  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work across time zones, adjusting hours on occasion as needed

  • Strong attention to detail, motivation, and initiative.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience required

  • Prior resource management experience in a professional services environment Knowledge of product management concepts and how enterprise software products are positioned and developed.

MANAGEMENT

  • Experience in a supervisory role for a small team of resources for the coordinated delivery of large or complex projects.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with Dayshape

  • Experience with Workday, especially Projects and Resource Management

  • Experience working with 3rd party and vendor relationships.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $126,500 - $223,900

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
