The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for building, optimizing, and scaling the systems, processes, and data that power marketing execution and performance. This role owns the operational backbone of marketing, ensuring the right technology, workflows, attribution models, and reporting are in place to support efficient, measurable, and repeatable marketing programs.

This role partners closely with Marketing and Sales teams to enable data-driven decision-making, improve funnel visibility, and drive alignment across the full customer lifecycle. The Marketing Operations Manager translates business objectives into operational strategy, ensuring campaigns are executed with accuracy, speed, and clear performance measurement.

With a strong focus on marketing technology, data quality, and process optimization, this role supports net-new growth across colocation, cloud, and managed services, including compliance and security.

Success in this role requires curiosity, ownership, attention to detail, an understanding of the internal and external users' experiences, and an analytical mindset, with a proven ability to operationalize marketing strategy into scalable, reliable execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own and administer the marketing technology stack, including marketing automation, CRM, attribution, and supporting tools that enable consistent and scalable marketing execution.
  • Design, document, and optimize end-to-end marketing processes, including campaign setup, lead management, and sales handoff.
  • Lead marketing operations-driven projects by creating clear project plans, timelines, and dependencies, and ensuring initiatives are delivered on time.
  • Manage marketing project execution using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com), ensuring visibility, accountability, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintain marketing data hygiene and system governance to ensure accurate reporting and reliable execution.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and analytics teams to translate strategy into operational plans and track performance.
  • Operationalize multi-channel campaigns by configuring workflows, integrations, tracking, web forms, landing pages, and automation needed to launch and maintain campaigns.
  • Establish best practices, create documentation, and provide training for consistent use of marketing systems.
  • Evaluate and manage third-party tools to improve efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in marketing operations or marketing systems roles supporting B2B marketing teams.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), Salesforce, Hubspot, WordPress, Drift, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Seismic, Splash by CVENT, ABM platforms, and similar marketing technologies.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com (or similar) to track work, communicate status, and drive accountability.
  • Ability to design and maintain scalable marketing workflows and processes.
  • Experience supporting analytics and reporting through accurate system configuration.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and comfort with automation.
