**About the Role:**

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join a dynamic team focused on medication fulfillment. In this role, you will play a vital part in the pharmacy operations, leveraging your skills to prepare and distribute critical drug products. You'll be at the heart of the fulfillment system, ensuring every prescription is handled with precision and care, directly supporting pharmacists and providing essential patient services. This position offers a chance to contribute significantly to an organization that values accuracy, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.

**What You'll Do:**

* Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and coordinating outreach to members and healthcare providers.

* Accurately enter patient demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.

* Research and resolve complex insurance billing issues and escalated member inquiries.

* Escalate prescription-related questions to pharmacists for expert interpretation and guidance.

* Provide essential support through inbound and outbound patient or physician communications.

* Utilize standard prescription data entry procedures and guidelines to process new patient registrations and refill orders, ensuring compliance with patient privacy regulations.

* Troubleshoot and obtain missing prescription information, and interpret medical abbreviations.

* Resolve all data entry related exceptions to maintain data integrity.

* Operate automated machinery, sort medications, and manage inventory flow with a strong focus on quality control.

* Execute precise counting and filling of prescriptions, affix labels, and prepare packages for shipping.

* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including assisting with machinery upkeep.

* Resolve third-party billing rejections by reviewing information, making necessary corrections, and resubmitting claims according to plan requirements.

* Provide direct assistance to pharmacists, identifying and communicating critical issues to senior staff as appropriate.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Active pharmacy technician license that remains valid throughout the assignment.

* Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation.

* High School Diploma or GED.

* Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

* Basic computer proficiency, including navigating operating systems, using a mouse, managing programs, and accessing online information.

* Basic search engine skills, including browser navigation, URL entry, and online form completion.

* Intermediate keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, touch typing, and document formatting).

* Ability to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.

* Ability to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

* Willingness and ability to work a flexible shift schedule.

* Must be 18 years of age or older.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* 0 to 2 years of prior Pharmacy Technician experience.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $16.65 to $18.50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
