As the Salesforce Business Administrator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our internal user community. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of user management-from onboarding and troubleshooting to permissioning and territory alignment. Beyond daily support, you will play a key role in maintaining data integrity, and documenting administrative processes.

The Salesforce Business Administrator is an entry-level system administrator responsible for core user management functions and direct support of Salesforce end-users. Key responsibilities include comprehensive user maintenance (creating/deactivating users, assigning profiles, roles, and permission sets, troubleshooting login issues, managing user access and data management), managing user goal records, and ensuring users are assigned to the appropriate training sessions and territories. This role is also accountable for maintaining clear and precise documentation of all user maintenance activities.

User Lifecycle & Access Management

  • Manage the full user lifecycle, including onboarding (new setups), offboarding (deactivations), and role/profile updates.

  • Provision access by assigning appropriate Profiles, Roles, and Permission Sets to ensure security and data integrity.

  • Coordinate training and alignment by assigning users to required training sessions and territory/goal records during setup or transitions.

Technical Support & Communication

  • Serve as the first point of contact for end-users user maintenance, providing timely resolution to technical inquiries and login issues via a ticketing system.

  • Bridge communication between end-users and the technical team, working closely with the Salesforce Administrator and Business Analyst to provide accurate guidance.

  • Draft and distribute clear communications to keep users informed of system changes, updates, or best practices.

Analysis & Documentation

  • Maintain internal documentation by reviewing system guides for accuracy and ensuring all administrative processes are current.

  • Perform business and system analysis to identify user needs and recommend process improvements.

  • Record precise administrative logs, ensuring all user maintenance activities are documented for audit and compliance purposes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience. Associate's Degree preferred with a study in either Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with a strong focus on CRM systems.

  • 0-1 years of Salesforce administrator

  • Understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to manage user management, including Role maintenance.

  • Ability to write standard SOQL queries data import mapping to support reassignment of open records during creating/deactivating users.

  • Ability to work creatively in a problem solving team environment.

  • Excellent customer service skills; ability to form relationships

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides or equivalent

  • Proficiency in managing time and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Capability to collaborate efficiently within a team and work autonomously over phone, email, face-to-face and virtual meetings.

  • Meet work performance and/or productivity levels whether onsite or teleworking

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

  • Understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality preferred.

  • Salesforce Certification is preferred but not required.
