As Sr. Endpoint Engineer I, you'll manage and secure enterprise Windows and macOS environments supporting a high-visibility, mission-critical customer with the goal of making a real impact across the federal government. - Work as part of a collaborative and high-performing team delivering technical solutions within the highest levels of the federal government
- Manage endpoint imaging, patching, and vulnerability remediation across enterprise environments
- Support and operate enterprise endpoint management tools and platforms
- Resolve Tier 3 endpoint issues in support of a service desk and mission operations
- Maintain secure, compliant Windows and macOS client environments
- Participate actively in Agile execution and continuous improvement activities
- Communicate technical issues, solutions, and risks clearly with stakeholders
- Establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence through technical expertise and reliability
- Apply creativity and sound engineering judgment to deliver innovative solutions aligned to customer needs
What you'll need to succeed:
- An active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in an IT-related field is preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for education requirements.
- Required technical certifications include Microsoft MD-102 and Security+.
- Possess DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 451 System Administrator work role, such as Security+, Cloud+, SSCP, CASP+, or CISSP.5+ years of experience in IT with a primary focus on endpoint and client device management across Windows 11, macOS Sequoia and Tahoe, and Apple iOS environments.
- Hands-on experience performing OS imaging, patch management, performance troubleshooting, and vulnerability remediation in enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of endpoint devices, including provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Operational experience providing Tier 3 endpoint support, including advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Hands-on experience administering endpoint management platforms, such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Tanium, or BigFix.
- Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment.
SALARY RANGE: $147,000 - $193,000 The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
