Overview
We are currently accepting applications for this position, with an anticipated hire date at the end of April. Candidates are encouraged to apply early for consideration. Supervises the daily activities and work performed within the Biomedical Services Department. The Supervisor assures quality performance as well as good customer relations. Work tasks include appropriate commissioning, repair and safety testing of biomedical equipment assigned to the department. Ensures that the biomedical equipment is in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, implements quality control standards, maintains budget, and vendor relationships. The supervisor is considered a working supervisor that has authority for personnel actions and oversees the department's day-to-day operations. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks as assigned. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The position reports to the Manager of Biomedical Services. Responsibilities
Education and Experience Associate Degree in Biomedical Engineering/Electronics or related or related Military equivalent certifications required. Three or more years of experience in BioMedical Engineering and a supervisory role in a healthcare setting.
