Overview
Microsoft Azure is in the cloud race to win it. We are part of the Azure Networking team responsible for designing, building, and operating network connectivity, application load balancing, and security. Our services include Azure ExpressRoute, Virtual Private Network (VPN), Azure Firewall, Azure Bastion, Azure Application Gateway, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Azure Virtual Wide Area Network (Virtual WAN), and the Virtual Network Functions (VNF) platform. At the core of these services is a robust Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) infrastructure that we continuously innovate to improve agility, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Our team's contributions are widely recognized in the cloud and networking industry. We own services end-to-end-from user-facing interfaces to the management plane and all the way down to data path implementation. In this role, you will design, build, and operate hyper-scale services and develop control plane solutions that manage infrastructure and customer resources at massive scale, deployed as virtualized and cloud-native workloads. Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
