The Pharmacy Intern will work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist to perform a variety of technician and pharmacist duties while in training to become proficient in general pharmacy practices, procedures, and etiquette. The Pharmacy Intern will perform drug inventory and delivery services, as directed. Schedule: This position can work up to 19 hours per week, however, it is anticipated to work Wednesdays as well as to cover PTO and sick time of existing pharmacy staff About the Facility: Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital is a joint venture between Universal Health Services and Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine. The 128-bed facility will feature Lancaster County's only dedicated inpatient unit for adolescents, as well as a dedicated women's trauma unit, for sexual assault victims or women with a history of traumatic injuries because of domestic violence. Slated to open in mid-2018, the hospital will also offer day-treatment services for adolescent, dual-diagnosis, older adult, and substance-abuse patients.
