Job Summary

This position is critical to UFP's global growth strategy. By developing international accounts, coordinating regional teams, and establishing strategic partnerships, the role ensures UFP's products reach new markets and maintain competitive positioning worldwide.

This role requires a dynamic and strategic leader with deep expertise in international sales and market development. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, cross-cultural communication skills, and the ability to align regional strategies under a unified global vision. Success depends on driving revenue growth, managing complex account relationships, and ensuring consistent commercial policies across diverse markets. Sr. Manager or Director level for this position will be dependent on experience.

Location: Grand Rapids, Detroit, St. Louis, Atlanta, Philadelphia, or Charlotte preferred

Key dimensions:

  • Achieve targeted revenue growth and market share expansion in priority regions.

  • Secure long-term distribution agreements and strategic partnerships.

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to support business planning.

  • Maintain alignment of commercial policies and pricing strategies across all markets.

  • Strengthen UFP's global brand presence through coordinated sales initiatives.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth through international account development and cross-border opportunities

  • Coordinate regional sales teams and ensure consistent value propositions across markets

  • Establish strategic partnerships and distribution agreements in target regions

  • Forecast and report sales performance across product lines and geographies

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions

  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and corporate policies

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred. English language fluency is mandatory. Other languages, including Spanish, are desirable.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8-10 years in sales leadership roles, preferred 5 years experience in international markets

  • Proven success in managing multi-country sales strategies and key account development

Competencies & Technical Skills:

  • International business development and strategic partnerships

  • Sales forecasting and performance analytics

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools

  • Strong understanding of global trade regulations and compliance
