Responsibilities

Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. It also provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Through continuing growth, IPM operates in 11 markets across six states and the District of Columbia. Our leadership team, practitioners, and teams of healthcare professionals are collectively dedicated to improving the health and wellness of people in the communities we serve.

This position is a hybrid role, working 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

Position Overview

The Project Analyst- Performance & Process Improvement supports project execution by assisting with planning, monitoring, and reporting activities. This role ensures operational efficiency and provides analytical insights to help projects meet quality, timeline, and budget objectives. This position collaborates cross-functionally with Market and Corporate personnel to gather data, identify risks, and track key performance indicators.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a business or clinical related field required with a minimum of one to three years project experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.

  • Knowledge of health care administration systems.
  • Processes a general understanding of provider documentation guidelines and coding.
  • Demonstrates understanding of clinical operations and workflows.
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communicating effectively with physicians, administrative staff, internal customers, and external agencies.
  • Advanced computer skills an experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint applications required.
  • Ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports, analyze and interpret complex data, complete goals through project/team management.
  • Comfortable and confident interacting with IPM division and Market personnel at all levels.
