Who We Seek
We seek a Temporary Infant Teacher who will work under the guidance of the Lead Infant Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. This role supports the education, daily care, and well-being of children while incorporating RFK Community Alliance's promise and principles as well as developmentally appropriate practices aligned with
NAEYC standards.
Who You Are
You are a sensitive, mature, and caring team player who relates well to both children and adults. Qualifications include:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must meet all Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) qualifications for the position
- Infant/Toddler Teacher certification by EEC
- Experience working with infants preferred
Key Responsibilities
Care and Supervision of Children, Teaching, Family Partnerships, Professionalism, Professional Development
- Participate in trainings, workshops, and professional development required by EEC and the program
Reports To:
Program Director and Program Coordinator
Shift:
40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, Hours of Operation are 7:30AM-5:30PM.
This is a temporary position; duration to be discussed during the interview process.
