Job Description




As a Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Patrols FT in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service and communication, contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain a secure environment within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols inside the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, incidents, or conditions to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as required.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the healthcare location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry points.
  • Support emergency response activities, including providing directions and assistance to staff, visitors, and/or first responders during incidents.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and client site protocols to help to uphold a secure and welcoming environment for all individuals at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
