What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation skills when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor the location for suspicious behavior and report findings according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed to address incidents at the location.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as any additional requirements specific to the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Possess a corrections officer license.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
