Global Mobility Specialist

The Global Mobility Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of global mobility services for a specific geographical region (North and South America). This position serves as the critical link between our Relocation Management Companies, HRBPs, local operational leads, and third-party vendors. The specialist ensures all international assignments are executed seamlessly and in compliance with company policy, providing a high-quality experience for both the employee and the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management & Execution:



  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all mobility-related inquiries and escalations within the assigned region.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of international assignments, from initiation and policy application to repatriation and off-boarding.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to understand their talent mobility needs and provide expert guidance.


Vendor Management:



  • Manage relationships and gives direction to third-party service providers (SIS, NEI, immigration law firms, relocation companies, tax advisors).
  • Monitor vendor performance against service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service delivery.


Policy & Compliance:



  • Ensure consistent and accurate application of the company's global mobility policies.
  • Work closely with the centralized administration team and operational leads to ensure all documentation, including assignment letters and immigration filings, is accurate and compliant.
  • Stay informed of changes in immigration, tax, and social security regulations in the assigned countries to mitigate risks.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:



  • Act as a bridge between the central mobility team, the outsourced administration vendors (SIS or NEI), and local operational leads.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Legal, Finance, and Purchasing, to ensure a smooth and compliant process for international assignees.
  • Manages the execution of the global mobility program for their assigned region, acting as the main point of contact for external providers and internal stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in global mobility, HR, or related field
  • Experience in managing third-party vendors and service delivery
  • Skills: knowledge of global mobility principles, including immigration, tax, and relocation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex cases and multiple priorities simultaneously.
