Project Scheduler

Zeno is seeking a highly motivated Project Scheduler to support the mission-oriented efforts of developing and bringing to market Radioisotope Power Systems (RPS) technologies. The Project Scheduler will develop, maintain, and analyze integrated master schedules (IMS) across complex, multidisciplinary programs. This role is critical to ensuring program execution stays aligned with technical milestones, regulatory commitments, and long-lead procurement realities inherent to nuclear and aerospace-class hardware development.

In this role you will:


  • Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) spanning design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Define logical task sequencing, dependencies, durations, and milestones across cross-functional teams.
  • Track schedule performance, identify critical path activities, and assess schedule risk.
  • Perform schedule impact analyses and develop mitigation strategies for risks and changes.
  • Partner with Program Managers, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Safety, and Licensing teams.
  • Facilitate schedule reviews and ensure alignment with internal and external commitments.
  • Produce schedule status reports, forecasts, and executive-level summaries.
  • Support internal and external program reviews, including customer and government engagements.
  • Help mature scheduling standards, tools, and best practices as the company scales.

Key Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a project scheduler or planning engineer on complex technical programs.
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian software such as Confluence and Jira
  • Experience supporting hardware development programs.
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in nuclear, aerospace, defense, energy, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience using Ceptah Bridge to interface between MS Project and Jira
  • Familiarity with long-lead procurement and test-driven schedules.
  • Experience supporting government or customer-facing program reviews.
  • Exposure to Earned Value Management (EVM).

Job Functions


  • Position requires in-office presence in Seattle (South Lake Union) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, remote work is optional on Mondays and Fridays
  • Travel: Travel is required, <10%
  • Motor Abilities: Sitting and/or standing for extended periods, bending/stooping, grasping/gripping, fine motor control (hands)
  • Physical exertion and/or requirements: Minimal, with ability to safely lift up to 15 pounds
  • Repetitive work: Prolonged
  • Special Senses: Visual and audio focused work
  • Work Conditions: Stairs, typing/keyboard, standard and/or sitting working environment of >8 hrs./day

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary band for this position is $95,000-125,000. The final job level and compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, and other business considerations.
