What You Will Do
Production Chemistry:
Support oilfield chemistry commercialization and deployment efforts, including field trials; generate high-quality call reports and data capture that inform business decisions Plan, lead, and execute complex oilfield chemistry technical projects-from scoping and charter through implementation, handover, and lessons learned-owning schedule, risk, and stakeholder communications Review technical recommendations, third party and internal, and ensure alignment with industry norms and best practices (chemistry applicability, dosage levels, and application methodology) Develop and deploy best practices and standard work for products, programs, and applications within assigned industry segments; create technical audit templates and best-practice documentation Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to optimize customer operations Participate in industry events and technical trade associations (e.g., AMPP, SPE, etc.), including presenting papers and contributing to technical committees
Sales and Account Management:
Identify account opportunities and coordinate with Key Account Managers and Sales Management; provide support in customer "Must Keep" situations Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, District Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Industry Marketers, Technical Services, Executive Accounts and customers to support execution of technical projects Work with field organization to quantify the financial impact of company programs/applications/systems and document specifications for effective solutions Provide technical leadership and mentorship-train and coach salesforce and junior technical personnel; raise technical competency across the team
Project Management:
Monitor group processes and results to identify quality and efficiency targets; establish measures to track quality and drive continuous improvement Create cost-benefit analyses and project/process plans; anticipate obstacles and develop contingency plans to meet objectives Perform onsite audit support, which may include offshore travel, for pre-bid technical qualification, including laboratory testing, qualification, and process-flow documentation Support projects throughout project life cycle from Pre-FEED through start - up (First Oil)

Position Details:
Office located in: Sugar Land, TX Work week and shift: Typically, Monday-Friday; on-call for general questions with infrequent after-hours contact Travel up to 30%, with periodic overnight travel including offshore as project needs dictate
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Chemistry Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry or related science degree 10 years of industry experience in oilfield/production chemicals 3 years of work experience in a field support or senior sales position Demonstrated experience leading multi-site or complex technical projects with cross-functional stakeholders across a variety of application types, chemistries, and customers Effective time management and ability to multi-task across concurrent projects Experience in technical service and/or sales with proficiency in troubleshooting, product selection, application, and optimization Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey and transfer technical knowledge effectively to diverse audiences. Experience across multiple sites and broad, diverse situations; resilience and agility in team-selling and cross-functional execution Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications No immigration sponsorship offered

Able to pass a company physical Able to bend, squat down, and reach above your head Ability to climb stairs and ladders May be required to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high. Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
Preferred Qualifications:
11+ years of industry experience in oilfield/production chemicals 4+ years of work experience in an offshore field support role Advanced flow modeling software such as ScaleSoft Pitzer, OLI ScaleChem, PVTsim, OLGA, PipeSim, Multi-Corr or related software Application experience across water treatment, petrochemical, and oilfield chemicals Advanced interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in coaching and mentoring Advanced problem-solving skills and systematic approach to root-cause analysis; ability to anticipate problems and develop contingency plans Familiarity with GTR (RD&E Project Request system) or similar systems and tools used for technical documentation and reporting
