Summary

The Director, Wealth Management Services leads a high-performing team responsible for operational and technical excellence across BOK Financial's Operations, Technology and Data Division. In this pivotal role, you'll set strategic vision, drive innovation, and oversee services including securities, client support, retirement plans, and fiduciary tax operations. You will leverage your expertise in capital markets, trusts, and ERISA plans, as well as advanced operational and financial management skills, to keep our Wealth Operations at the forefront of the industry. As a respected advisor, you'll cultivate strong partnerships across functions and inspire a large, diverse team through ongoing transformation-all while upholding rigorous risk and compliance standards in an evolving environment.

Job Description

Leads a diverse team primarily responsible for providing operational and technical support to the Wealth Management division including Retirement Plan Administration, Institutional Trust, Institutional Custody, Private Wealth (including personal trust administration), Corporate Trust, Investment Management (Trust and RIA), Oil and Gas Administration and International Operations. Manages a $24 million budget and supports businesses with revenues exceeding $175 million annually. Has 200+ team members. Collaborates with business partners to assure strategic alignment. Drives deep partnerships with internal and external partners. Leverages team-specific playbooks to assist in creation of long range strategic plans. Creates operating leverage by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Effectively manages operational risk and anticipates evolving risks. Provides a high level of service to some of the bank's wealthiest clients and most influential institutions. Identifies and develops talent and plans for succession.

  • You will set the vision and lead transformational initiatives to keep BOK Financial's Wealth Management Services competitive and innovative.
  • You will optimize complex processes across diverse functions, ensuring operational efficiency while upholding risk and compliance standards.
  • You will mentor and inspire a high-performing team of approximately 200, fostering collaboration, talent growth, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • You will drive the adoption of automation and AI to streamline operations, enhance scalability, and improve the client experience.
  • You will build trusted relationships with internal partners, vendors, regulators, and industry peers to deliver impactful business outcomes.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's or advanced Degree in a business discipline. Typically has 10 to 15 years of experience in the financial services industry with a diverse wealth management background with familiarity in Securities Processing, Retirement Plan Administration, Fiduciary Accounting, Taxation and Accounting for Minerals and Real Estate. Prior experience successfully leading complex projects, managing change and integrating acquired entities is beneficial.
