What will I do as a Labor Coordinator at The GIANT Company?

The Labor Coordinator position provides ongoing support to our Operations Teams for Kronos system related issues and updates needed based on business changes including business policy, format, and operational changes. This position will communicate any operational changes within Kronos to the Store Operations team. The Labor Coordinator will also lead and help execute Kronos related projects as the project Point of Contact based on the scope of the project and business needs. The Labor Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining profiles and characteristics within the labor standards system and item mapping files to ensure all input/output information is accurate and up to date. Supports sales and profit goals by executing all tactical elements of marketing programs to support business initiatives.

  • Build and maintain WFM systems knowledge database inclusive of store labor standard characteristics and profiles, store plan designs and calendar changes, department hours of operations, and departmental service level requirements.
  • Identify changes that impact our WFM systems and coordinate with the ADUSA Workforce Management team to develop a clear goal and timeline to complete all necessary system changes, and maintain communication to the appropriate stakeholders within the business.
  • Work with key stakeholders to lead and execute Kronos system related projects.
  • Collect and communicate changes to pay (contracts, new job codes, or anything brand specific) to the ADUSA Workforce Management team to ensure all changes and configurations are made in a timely manner.
  • Notify HRBPs of operational process issues causing system errors to be corrected in a timely manner.
  • Maintain contact with key business stakeholders to ensure ADUSA Workforce Management team and WFM systems are current on changes to store format, minimum staffing, hours of operation, etc.
  • Audit configuration settings through Kronos output data, store visits, and communications with store management to ensure information accuracy.
  • Conduct indirect payroll audits and manage charges to indirect accounts on a weekly basis.
  • Streamline and automate current work process for maintaining store specific characteristics and amenities.
  • Update current work processes to create better visibility at store and region levels of current settings for our WFM and labor model inputs.
  • Train and support the store management teams and department leads in utilizing the tools available accurately to write optimal schedules.
  • Monitor weekly schedules to identify the biggest opportunities and perform targeted store visits to meet with store teams to assist in schedule writing
  • Train the store management teams on the proper use of Time & Attendance. Ensure that Store management teams are fully trained on how to utilize WFM to be in compliance with federal, state, and employment laws.
  • Maintain and update bi-weekly Item Mapping files to ensure accuracy on new and current in-store items linked to engineered labor standards.
  • Provide verbal and/or written communications for Kronos system operating changes to the Operations Team via Compass.
  • Develop and maintain Kronos How-To documents to ensure available resources for the Operations Team is accurate and up to date on The Source.

What do we expect you to bring to the table?
  • 2-4 years of experience in related field.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with Kronos.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, to include Excel

What are the details?
  • Hybrid Remote: This position is based out of Carlisle, Pa. and will require 3 days a week in the office.
  • Reporting: The Labor Coordinator reports to the Labor Manager.
