We are seeking a highly motivated and experiencedSystems Requirements and Architecture Managerto lead a talented team of engineers in the development and management of system and subsystem requirements, system architecture, and verification/testing processes. This role combines technical expertise with strong leadership and administrative skills to ensure the successful execution of complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities to Anticipate this Role
The Systems Requirements and Architecture Manager will be responsible for managing a staff with four (4) area managers to development system and subsystem requirements, requirements traceability and compliance assessment, coordinate System level Design Verification Plans & Reports (DVPR) activities, development of the Systems Architecture (Power, Controls, Ethernet Network, and Video Architecture), management of HW/SW interface control documents (ICDs), and verification/test of system requirements.
The Leadership and Administrative Role responsibilities will include:
- Provide overall leadership to a team, including four (4) area managers.
- Assign tasks, responsibilities, and priorities to individuals and teams.
- Manage indirect budgets and oversee required training for employees.
- Manage the staffing demands as needed.
- Lead bid and proposal activities for new projects.
- Ensure adherence to engineering processes, safety practices, and training plans.
- Review and approve timecards, travel requests, and expense reports.
- Work with employees on setting their performance goals, conduct performance reviews, and manage the yearly compensation cycle for all individuals in the reporting structure.
The Technical responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and coordinate systems requirements and architecture development using tools such as DOORS and Cameo.
- Manage the creation and traceability of system and subsystem requirements, specifications, and verification plans.
- Lead the development of use cases, function lists, and states and models.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of subsystem requirements and design documents (SSDD/SRS).
- Coordinate the development of activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and interface block diagrams.
- Manage requirement verification activities, including Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) Vehicle.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of interface diagrams, including 1-wire and 2-wire schematics (Cameo/Capital).
- Manage the Interface Message Library Database (Ethernet and CAN bus).
- Collaborate with the Harness Group to develop and maintain hardware/software interface control documents (ICDs).
- Oversee the development of power requirements, specifications, and architecture:
- Manage/Coordinate development of power requirement / Specifications
- Manage/Coordinate development of power architecture / SSDD Input
- Manage/Coordinate development of power verification / SIL testing
Qualifications Sought
- Bachelor's degree in engineering is required (System Engineering preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years related experience.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, processes, and products.
- Previous experience with systems requirements, systems architecture, design reviews, verification/test activities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline team environment.
- Strong decision-making skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel when needed up to 15%
- Ability to multi-task, meet or exceed deadlines, and build strong team relationships with members of the communications and strategy teams
- Microsoft Office experience including PowerPoint,Excel, etc
- Experience working with military vehicles or in a defense-related environment desired.
Additional Information / Desired Experience
- This position will require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)
- This position may require the candidate to be able to climb on/off, work in, and work around military vehicles is desired. Must be able to pass ASR test (Anthropometric Size Requirement for confined space)
- Able to bring continuous improvement processes and methodologies to the position.
