Grounds Worker Founded by Detroit philanthropists George and Ellen Booth in 1904, Cranbrook Educational Community is one of the world's leading centers of education, science, and art. There are four openings for the Grounds Worker position. One opening will start as soon as possible, the other three will begin on or after April 1, 2026. The Grounds Worker position performs basic grounds maintenance work using hand tools, walk-behind and riding motorized equipment. This is a temporary/seasonal position, working 40 hours per week for up to 1000 hours in the calendar year. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm, and the rate of pay will be $18.20/hour.
