Job Description and Duties

Under the general supervision of the Information Technology (IT) Manager I the IT Associate will perform technical tasks related to developing data governance tools and developing low to medium complexity reports for the Department of Cannabis Control's (Department) IT Services Division within the Infrastructure Office.

The Department of Cannabis Control is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated individual that wants to work in a multi-tasking environment. If selected, you will work with other data analysts and database experts to establish and support the Department's enterprise reporting tools. The Department's mission is to develop and implement progressive cannabis policies and license and regulate commercial cannabis activity in a way that best protects public health, safety, the environment, and local communities throughout the State of California.

Special Requirements

A standard state application (STD 678) is required and must be included.

A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required and must be included.
