  • Provide instructions to external drivers
  • Thoroughly and accurately complete all required paperwork
  • Document and maintains records of shipments
  • Utilizing routing guidelines to coordinate outgoing shipments
  • Communicating with customers internal and external as needed
  • Coordinate via various modalities with customers for outgoing shipments
  • Utilizes various systems to route customer shipments
  • Utilizes various systems to print and prepare all necessary paperwork for product shipments
  • Prepares and coordinates all necessary documents for customer manifests, bill of lading, and any other related documents
  • Documents and maintains records of shipments
  • Coordinates with the operations team to ensure successful scheduling of customer shipments
  • Follows process and procedures for each customer

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Able to collaborate with customers and employees at all levels
  • Strong skills in: data entry, 10 key, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong reading skills: Able to read and interpret documents such as shipping documents, bills of lading, reports, and spreadsheets
  • Communication skills: Able to speak effectively to employees, management customers, and other corporate partners: Able to write correspondences via various methods.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills: Abe to interpret instructions from reports, graphs, written, and verbal formats.
  • Mathematic skills: ability to calculate figures by adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure
  • Experience working in a warehouse or transportation environment preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • One year or more of related experience in the transportation or distribution field
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
