The Corporate Security Department is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to assist with the development and maintenance of interactive Power BI dashboards. This internship provides hands-on experience in data analytics, reporting automation, and visualization while supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The intern will work closely with analytics, IT, and business stakeholders to transform raw data into clear, actionable insights that support operational reporting and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, transform, and model data for analytical use
• Design and develop user-friendly Power BI dashboards
• Connect dashboards to multiple data sources (e.g., Excel, SQL databases, cloud platforms)
• Apply data visualization best practices to ensure clarity and usability
• Automate recurring reports to reduce manual reporting effort
• Test dashboards and incorporate stakeholder feedback
• Document dashboards, data sources, and processes for knowledge transfer
• Collaborate with business units to gather reporting requirements and define KPIs

Qualifications

• Currently a rising junior or senior preferred, enrolled in a major of Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic familiarity with Power BI
• Exposure to SQL and database concepts preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
