The Xavier Lab combines cutting-edge technologies with molecular biology, immunology, genomics, and systems biology. Our research focuses on translating human genetics to functional biology; generating systems-wide maps within the gut that capture immune features and metabolic states at single-cell resolution; determining the influences of the gut microbiome on health and disease using human cohorts and computational models; and, identifying and placing new cellular receptors within pathway biology and leverage chemical biology to test therapeutic hypotheses and inform drug discovery program. The Director, Operations serves as a trusted strategic partner to senior leadership, overseeing operational performance, coordinating lab-wide initiatives, and ensuring that administrative and strategic priorities advance efficiently. This individual is responsible for driving execution, improving cross-functional workflows, supporting decision-making, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. This role requires exceptional organizational leadership, scientific or research-environment fluency, and the ability to operate with sound judgment in a complex, fast-paced, research-focused institution. . The expected base pay range for this position as listed above is based on a 40 hour per week schedule. Broad provides pay ranges representing its reasonable and good faith estimate of what the organization reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, qualifications, and other factors permissible by law.
