What You Will Do:

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using thehotel'sreservation system.
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
  • Communicate estimated wait times and accommodate special seating requests when possible.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
  • Answer phone calls andassistwith inquiriesregardinghours, menus, and reservations.
  • Coordinate with servers and managers to ensuretimelyseating and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating plans as needed.
  • Assistwith guest recovery and resolve minor concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Regular and reliable attendance inconformancewith company standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications Include:

  • Previousexperience in hospitality, customer service, or restaurant hosting preferred.
  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills.
  • Flexibility toworkvarying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the restaurant.
  • TIPS alcohol-service certification
