The Build (Responsibilities)
- Set and execute the enterprise-wide indirect procurement strategy across categories including MRO, facilities, IT, professional services, logistics, travel, and corporate spend.
- Lead sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier management to deliver measurable cost savings, service reliability, and risk reduction.
- Partner with Finance to align budgeting, forecasting, and savings validation tied to indirect spend initiatives.
- Establish and enforce procurement governance, policies, and approval frameworks to drive consistency and compliance.
- Rationalize vendors and contracts to reduce fragmentation and increase leverage at scale.
- Drive continuous improvement across sourcing, purchasing, and supplier performance through data, discipline, and standard processes.
- Lead, develop, and coach procurement team members while influencing cross-functional and regional stakeholders.
- Support enterprise initiatives including footprint changes, integrations, and major capital projects from an indirect spend and supplier strategy perspective.
The Toolbox (Qualifications)
- 10+ years of progressive procurement experience with meaningful ownership of indirect spend.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience operating in a global or multi-site manufacturing environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead procurement strategy, not just process transactions.
