THE ROLE:
Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Machine Operator to join our team.
The machine operator produces a variety of high-quality plastic components and parts that our customers use with other components to dispense, transport, and store a range of different chemicals. In this role you willperform tasks suchasoperating CNC machines, inspecting parts, and ensuring the highest quality standards by following Standard Operating Procedures.
HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 6AM-4PM MONDAY-THURSDAY OR TUESDAY-FRIDAY
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Operates manual and CNC machines (lathes, mills, 5-axis machines) to produce precision partsin accordancewithworkorder specifications.
- Safelyutilizescutting tools to perform minor corrective operations on machined products as needed.
- Collaborates with machinists and machining supervisor toensure that production schedule ismet,and any issues areescalated timely.
- UsesSAP and other electronic systems to find,recordand generate documentation throughout theproductionprocess. Records all output and production data inSAPandmaintaincompliance with all online training and documentation requirements.
- Packages finished ordersin accordance withspecifications, ensuring proper protection and handling.
- Performs manual and CNC machine preventative maintenance tasks(checking/filling oil,vacuuming,changingfilters,etc)andotherhousekeeping duties.
- Ensures product is consistent with established specifications through Camline byutilizingdifferent measuring tools, such as calipers and drop/heightindicators.Escalatesquality issuestosupervisor or toqualitydepartmentas appropriate.Ensuring the highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality policy,ISOand/or other standards.
- Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughlyandtimely(i.e.Production Reports, Labels,ComponentSheets, SAP Transactions etc.).Maintainsaccurateattribute/variable charts of rejected materials.
- Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, costeffectivenessand product/system quality.Promotes and implementsuseof continuous improvement tools toeliminatenon-value activities.Participates actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6s, Kaizen events, etc.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area. Performs duties in a safe manner andobservesapproved safety procedures.Communicates potential hazardsimmediatelyto supervisor.
- Completes miscellaneoustasks asassigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.
- Is engaged with the overall safety culture of the organization by sharing safety stories,identifyingsafety observations and near miss reporting
WHAT WE SEEK:
- Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship.
- At least one (1) year ofpreviousexperience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team setting.
- High attention to detail and commitment tomaintaininghigh-quality standards.
- Proven ability to execute manufacturing processes within a tight tolerance.
- Ability to understand documented processes and proceduresindicatedin engineeringblueprints.
- Must be able to stand and walk for50% of the shift.
- Must be able tolift upto 40 pounds.
- Work is performed in an environment with moderate to high noise levels. Hearing protectionmay berequiredwhile on duty.
- Must be able to use measuring devices (Calipers, measuring tape) and role involves periodic pinching and grasping of handtools.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)is required tobeworn at all timesin the manufacturing area. This includes safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and high-visibility vests.

- Compensation: $21-$23 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
