What this job involves:

The Workplace Ambassador/Mailroom Clerk plays a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging workplace environment for employees and visitors. This position serves as the cornerstone of daily operations by providing exceptional customer service, fostering community collaboration, and supporting various workplace initiatives. As a friendly and knowledgeable point of contact, you'll ensure the workplace operates smoothly while meeting the diverse needs of occupants and stakeholders. This role combines traditional mailroom operations with modern workplace experience management, contributing directly to JLL's commitment to creating outstanding work environments that enhance productivity and employee satisfaction.

What your day-to-day will look like:

* Sort, collate, and distribute mail while managing outgoing shipments through Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL, and USPS with proper postage and documentation

* Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors by responding to inquiries, providing information, and addressing concerns promptly and professionally

* Assist employees with workplace-related needs including room bookings, equipment requests, and IT support coordination while serving as a resource for workplace policies and procedures

* Support event coordination and execution including room setup, catering coordination, and audiovisual equipment management for workplace meetings and activities

* Maintain and manage workplace amenities such as break rooms, lounges, wellness rooms, and collaborative spaces ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and functionality

* Promote workplace health and safety protocols including proper equipment use, emergency procedure adherence, and incident or hazard reporting

* Complete additional administrative tasks including document management, data entry, scheduling, meeting coordination, and special project assistance as organizational needs arise

Required Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent education level

* Proven experience in customer service or hospitality role, preferably in corporate or commercial real estate environment

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with diverse individuals

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments

* Tech-savvy with ability to navigate workplace technology tools, equipment, and software systems

Preferred Qualifications:

* Additional certification or coursework in customer service, business, or related field

* Professional and approachable demeanor with ability to represent the workplace effectively and positively

* Flexibility and adaptability to changing work demands and schedules, including occasional weekends or evenings for special events

* Knowledge of health, safety, and security protocols applicable to workplace environments

* Basic knowledge of office equipment operations and administrative task management

* Strong problem-solving skills with ability to address and resolve workplace-related issues independently

* Passion for fostering positive work environments and promoting employee engagement and morale

Work Shift: Standard business hours
