Description and Requirements

A Fortune Global 500 company with US$70 billion in revenue, Lenovo's vision is to become the global leader in IT solutions through smart devices, infrastructure, and solutions and services. We are looking for a talented industry analyst relations manager to join our Solutions and Services Group (SSG) Communications team with a broad understanding of the tech industry, from hardware to software, services and solutions.

In this role, you will identify, build and nurture positive relationships with industry analysts, understand their perceptions and be a champion for SSG across research firms. We are looking for an analyst relations manager who is a strategic thinker and a strong collaborator to join our team of seasoned, diverse global communications professionals. The location is flexible and can be based in-person in Lenovo's Morrisville (Raleigh-Durham) headquarters or remotely, where the industry analyst relations manager will collaborate with teams across North America, Asia, Europe and Latin America.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain positive, trusted relationships with key tech industry analysts to increase Lenovo and SSG's visibility and influence among the IT industry-analyst community.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and marketing colleagues in preparing content tailored to analyst audiences for communications that are impactful, including briefings, inquiries and vendor evaluation submissions ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.

  • Help to define and implement a strategic, measurable roadmap for analyst engagement that drives both valuable inbound industry analyst insight as well as outbound awareness of Lenovo's SSG business.

  • Compile, synthesize and report on key industry analyst insights and recommendations to senior leadership to influence business strategy and decisions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for consensus and implementation of plans.

  • Support multiple activities around Lenovo events, including Tech World and the Lenovo Global Industry Analyst Conference, as well as research firm and partner conferences.

  • Leverage tangible metrics to measure the success and impact of analyst relations and prepare communications on program efficacy to internal stakeholders.

Main Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree and a minimum 8+ years of analyst or analyst relations experience in the technology industry.

  • Strong network of technology and business analyst contacts.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in being articulate, confident and tactful in interacting with senior leadership - from presenting strategy plans to facilitating executive briefings.

  • Comfortable driving projects end-to-end, from strategy through hands-on execution.

  • Collaborative nature with the flexibility to work across a complex, global organization with colleagues across different time zones.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to summarize details quickly and sell business ideas through presentations.

  • Experience working with Analyst Relations SaaS platforms for analyst engagement and to measure effectiveness of outreach.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have strong project management skills in multitasking multiple priorities and take end-to-end ownership of programs.

  • Be a strategic thinker as well as a practical doer, comfortable with rolling up your sleeves to get things done with limited resources.

  • Be able to make strategic, prudent decisions, sometimes with a high degree of ambiguity.

  • Proven ability to manage key business stakeholders across a variety of situations and issues, being able to course-correct and influence stakeholders in a fast-paced environment against fast-breaking developments and timelines.

  • Constantly think outside the box and be entrepreneurial in pursuing new ideas and better ways of doing the job - with a sharp eye for detail.

  • Willingness to travel

This role offers the flexibility to be home-based anywhere in the U.S. within the Eastern or Central time zones. If you're near our Chicago or Raleigh offices, we follow a friendly hybrid model with three days a week in the office-great for collaboration and connection!
