Moog is hiring aTest Equipment Sustainment Logistics Managerfor ourSpace & Defense Group in East Aurora, NY.

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will contribute to the Sustainment of hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, servo-mechanism, and electro-pneumatic components and systems that are used to test the products of Moog, Inc. Key responsibilities include coordinating the procurement and delivery of maintenance parts, managing inventory, performance analysis, configuration management, and scheduling repairs and preventive maintenance for the Site's Test Equipment. This role requires strong organizational, leadership, and analytical skills to ensure our systems are running efficiently.

As a Test Equipment Sustainment Logistics Manager, you will:

  • Logistics & Inventory Management
    • Facilitate and track the movement of Test Equipment throughout the site.
    • Procure and manage spare parts for site test equipment.
    • Develop and implement effective spare parts strategies.
    • Establish and maintain minimum spare parts stock levels to ensure equipment availability.
  • Maintenance Coordination
    • Partner with A&T and Sustainment team members to create and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans based on equipment breakdown history, criticality, and redundancy factors.
    • Utilize and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) system to schedule, track, and optimize maintenance activities.
    • Continuously review and adjust PM plans based on feedback and operational needs.
  • Performance analysis
    • Analyze data on maintenance costs, parts usage, and equipment performance to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
    • Key Performance Indicator (KPI) report generation and tracking.
  • Configuration Management
    • Create, submit, and track Engineering Change Notices supporting the Sustainment team.

To be considered forthe Test Equipment Sustainment Logistics Manager role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Logistics, Facilities Management, or a related engineering field with 5+ years' relevant technical experience.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments and internal partners.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $85,000.00-$110,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
