Job Summary:

Reporting to the Assistant Program Manager or Program Manager, the Exam Process Manager supervises the CCS (Customer Care Specialist) staff to effectively support the medical review processes on medical exam management contract. This person will work with administrative and medical personnel to support the processing of candidate charts. Will train designated staff members on various job tasks to help assist with the duties and responsibilities of exam processing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervises CCS staff supporting exam processing.
  • Performs performance evaluations for the CCS staff.
  • Manages CCS time collection and schedule.
  • Supervises customer service processes. Forwards escalated issues to senior team members.
  • Manages taking, tracking, organizing, and filing all non-medical staff meeting minutes.
  • Manages organization of office including supplies, moves, and tidiness.
  • Manages exam processes.
  • Manages exam processes including triage, data entry, missing components, and records archiving.
  • Manages email inboxes for exam processing.
  • Manages and updates all non-medical process and procedure manuals.
  • Create templates and spreadsheets for reporting and monitoring exam process data and metrics.
  • Assistant to the Assistant Program Manager and Program Manager.
  • Performs duties in a safe manner. Follows the corporate safety policy.
  • Participates and supports safety meetings, training, and goals.
  • Ensures safe operating conditions within an area of responsibility.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by college level course work in Public Administration, Business Administration, or
  • health-related field. (College level course work must be supported by transcripts from the educational institution at which the course
  • work was completed).
  • Three years of general clerk experience.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment and word processing software required, including MS office products.
  • Candidate must be detail oriented with superior follow-through and communication skills and a strong ability to multi-task, organize
  • priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills and be customer oriented.
  • Candidate must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Candidate must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and supervisory skills and be professional in manner.
  • A willingness to be trained in vision/hearing/vital sign testing is a must.
  • Must be able and available to travel on short-term assignments as required for program support or onsite events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in public administration, business administration, or health-related field.
  • Exam processing for government and/or commercial contract experience.
  • Experience in a health-related field.
  • Certification in drug collection.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • May require bending and lifting up to 15 lbs.
