DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this Senior Depository Financial Institutions Examiner position, you will serve as an Examiner-In-Charge (EIC). This involves scoping, preparing, directing, coordinating and conducting complex, specialty, and non-complex safety and soundness (S&S) examinations of depository institutions, in addition to assigning work, providing instruction, mentoring, and reviewing other examiners' work for adherence to examination policies and procedures. Our team will rely on your experience and leadership to determine each institution's compliance with the provisions of applicable state and federal laws and regulations; identify weaknesses, deficiencies, and violations; and prepare recommendations to mitigate or correct these flaws. Communication is critical as you will discuss any findings, recommendations, corrective actions, and violations discovered in the examination with institution management, federal regulators and department personnel. This includes preparing written reports or comments as well as preparing and presenting oral and written presentations detailing examination findings. A passion for sharing knowledge and elevating others is key for success in this position's assignment as a mentor to new and developing examiners. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- This position requires travel.
- Telework: This position is home headquartered. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years as a Depository Financial Institutions Examiner 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of professional experience in examining depository financial institution or trust company records and operations for conformance to laws, rules and regulations and a bachelor's degree with a major in finance, accounting, economics or information technology, including or supplemented by nine credits in accounting; or
- Four years of professional internal auditing experience in a depository financial institution or trust company and a bachelor's degree with a major in finance, accounting, economics or information technology, including or supplemented by nine credits in accounting; or
- Four years of professional operating experience in a depository financial institution or trust company with experience in any of the following areas: lending, audit, risk management, transactions processing, trust department, branch management, compliance, finance/accounting, information technology systems or capital markets/treasury; and a bachelor's degree with a major in finance, accounting, economics or information technology, including or supplemented by nine credits in accounting; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes nine college credits in accounting.
