Position Title: Scrum Master

Location: San Diego, CA

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance


ISPA Technology is currently hiring for a Scrum Master to join our team onsite in San Diego, CA. This person will lead Agile delivery efforts in a SAFe environment and support cutting-edge defense technology projects. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to help teams deliver high-quality results while removing obstacles and maintaining sprint momentum.


Key Responsibilities


  • Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives
  • Enforce Agile and SAFe best practices across development teams
  • Maintain and manage scrum boards and ensure accurate team updates
  • Track story progress, support task decomposition, and address impediments quickly
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and reporting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize backlog items, epics, and sprint goals
  • Support client coordination to streamline approvals and remove roadblocks



Required Qualifications


  • 5+ years of Scrum Master experience in an Agile DoD environment
  • Strong background leading software development or IT project teams
  • Experience with integration, development, or related technical programs
  • Active Secret security clearance required
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent DoD IT experience)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)

$80,000-120,000 annually
