Engineering Technician - Temp to Hire Location: Milpitas, CA \| Pay: Up to $30/hr Purpose: Support engineering services in hardware and software design and development (non-production). Key Responsibilities: Perform complex tests, troubleshoot, and isolate malfunctions. Analyze test results and implement solutions. Fabricate, assemble, and test mechanical components and assemblies. Maintain software, documentation, and equipment. Assist engineers in hardware/software development and testing. Train technicians and operators on products, processes, and equipment. May support customer presentations, third-party projects, and documentation. Qualifications: Associate degree, military training, vocational training, or equivalent experience. Typically 6+ years of relevant experience. Advanced technical skills; able to lead, train, and apply new technologies. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and math skills. The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
