Exciting opportunity at MSK: Join our Thoracic Surgery team as a Research Project Associate! We're looking for a dynamic clinical research professional to support project management in the service.

Role Overview:

  • Collaborate directly with the Chief of Thoracic Surgery/Chairman of The Thoracic Surgery Oncology Group (TSOG) and TSOG Research Site Leadership to provide support for expanding TSOG.
  • Assist with implementation of TSOG vision and goals.
  • As an integral member of the research team and in compliance with all regulatory, institutional, and departmental requirements, lead all efforts needed for the successful screening, identification, and activation of new protocols at TSOG sites.
  • Responsible for ensuring the highest data quality, operations and staff management, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, data management, and strategic planning.
  • Work with TSOG chairman to collaborated and integrate with the TSOG participating sites in institutional efforts to improve the quality of clinical research across the consortium.

Key Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of Clinical Research/Project Management experience.

Core Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the regulations pertaining to human subject protection.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving to ensure unforeseen issues are handled appropriately and resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact across all levels in a confident, professional manner.
  • Enthusiasm and dedication to MSK's vision, mission, and values.

Pay Range: $67,900.00 - $105,300.00 FSLA Status: Exempt
