Job Title: Business Analyst
Location(s):

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by division, department, and class.
  • Create preseason sales, gross margin and inventory plans by division and department that support product strategies Reconcile top down to bottom-up division/department plans Reforecast sales and manage inventory for all basic styles and style colors to meet department financial goals Communicate financial results to manager and cross functional team on a weekly basis and determine in season pricing actions.
  • Support Monthly Open to Buy Forecasting by reconciling receipts, and working through a financial forecast with action plans to support path to financial targets.
  • Support roll out and communication to cross functional team members of new Inventory Strategy Initiatives for Total Banana Republic Japan.

  • Excel.
  • MicroStrategy.
  • Anaplan.
  • PETE (Gap Inc Specific Tool).

Experience Required:
  • 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong Excel and technical skills.
  • Must be system savvy and a quick learner.
  • Must demonstrate strong executive presence and ability to story tell with a growth mindset.
  • Believe in the Power of Team; builds constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners.
  • Possess strong business acumen and strategic agility, able to handle many projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing workload.
  • Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skills, able to present ideas and directions that rally others to action.
  • Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions.
  • Experienced in building and maintaining item-level forecasts, identifying trends and risks to support agile business decisions.
  • HM looking for candidates with Inventory Management, Buying, Forecasting, and Receipt Reconciliation.
  • Previous industry experiences ideal.
