As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play an important role in helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, performing routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location.
• Assist Allied Universal in carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies related to access control.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors while addressing inquiries and providing directions as needed.
• Document incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel to maintain a secure environment and report any suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge processes is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
