As a Security Professional - Armed Government Facility - Morning Shift in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor government locations and conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This post requires both driving and armed responsibilities. You will remain visible, provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly with the public and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside and around the perimeter of the location, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and maintain awareness of access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed logs and incident reports of daily activities and observations.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and law enforcement representatives as required.
• Operate and maintain security-related equipment and tools as part of armed patrol responsibilities.
• Stay alert to unusual circumstances and report findings according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
