As a Security Professional - Unarmed Government Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and attentive service. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide excellent customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transit facilities and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity and/or conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when required by site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, activities, and/or any issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials when appropriate, and managing visitor flow in accordance with procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
