Atlanta, GA | Contract to Hire | Hybrid Support & Engineering Role We're hiring a *Systems Engineer on a W2 basis* to join our IT team, bridging Help Desk and Infrastructure operations with a focus on *End User Experience*, *Desktop Engineering*, and *Cloud Integration*. *What You'll Do* * Serve as Tier 2-4 escalation for desktop and end-user issues * Lead enterprise desktop deployments and image/package management * Modernize desktop engineering (SCCM to Intune migration) * Design and manage Windows environments and cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP, M365) * Implement security controls, GPOs, and endpoint protection (Defender, EDR) * Collaborate across infrastructure, security, and support teams * Maintain system documentation, performance reports, and ITSM records * Ensure compliance with standards like SOX, NERC, FERC, and more *What You Bring* * 3-7 years of experience in systems engineering or desktop infrastructure * Proficiency with Intune, SCCM, Azure AD, Group Policy, and cloud platforms * Strong scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) * Familiarity with ITIL practices and compliance frameworks * Excellent communication and documentation skills *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
