Description Opportunity to utilize mechanical and industrial HVAC Experience to transition into the Data Center Industry. Supporting cutting-edge cooling technology to support AI supercomputers. The Critical Environment Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of centrifugal chiller systems in mission-critical environments. Key Responsibilities * Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on centrifugal chillers, with emphasis on Trane systems. * Conduct eddy current testing on condenser and evaporator tubes as part of biennial/triennial maintenance routines. * Monitor evaporator approach temperatures, refrigerant levels, and system performance using integrated control panels. Preferred Qualifications * 2-3+ years of experience operating and maintaining large Chiller or HVAC units in an industrial/commercial environment. * Specifically looking for someone who monitors and troubleshoots these, not just installation. * Experience in Data center, Navy Nuclear operations (ship or submarines), oil/gas refineries, hospitals, or pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities preferred. * Required: Must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fayetteville, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
