As a Security Officer - Access Control in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves providing exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, while responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the commercial real estate location, verifying identification and granting or denying entry as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support site operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or security-related breaches, documenting findings in detailed reports.
• Work closely with property management and site personnel to address concerns specific to the commercial real estate environment.
• Support the enforcement of building policies, rules, and regulations for tenants, visitors, and contractors.
• Maintain a professional presence while interacting with tenants, visitors, and contractors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
