As a Security Guard - Government Building Unarmed Patrol in BRONX, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor designated areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with individuals in a professional manner, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with both the public and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with onsite staff and visitors to address inquiries and provide guidance related to security-related matters.
• Collaborate with local authorities and Allied Universal management as needed during incidents and emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• You must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
