POSITION SUMMARY:

The LineOperator 2is responsible forsheeting,scaling,and mixing all ingredientsas prescribed bythe Bill of Materials (BOM) in a fast-paced work environment. This position works collaboratively to achieve Nestle businessobjectivesof safety, productivity, customer service, quality, and environmental protection.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

  • Operates all scales, meters, mixers, doughhoistand related mixing equipment.

  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work area.

  • Requests the Bill of Materials (BOM) from Gatekeeper/Lead for the product in production.

  • Requisitions ofthe required ingredientsstatedon the BOM from the Gatekeeper.

  • Checks that the ingredientsstoredby the Gatekeeper match the ingredients requested in the BOM.

  • Mixthe ingredients loaded into the mixersin accordancewiththe BOM and approved standard operating procedures (SOP's).

  • Works with the Gatekeeper to ensure pallet quantities match tag quantities for any ingredients returning to the warehouse or ingredients that are passed to the next shift.

  • Performs setups and breakdowns for the mixing area

  • Accurately weighs all relevant ingredients, including but not limited to re-work dough, small ingredients, etc.

  • Ensures that all containers are labeled, colorcoded,and handledproperly usingestablished methods and procedures.

  • Records necessary batch information including but not limited to, ingredient lot numbers, temperatures and machine settings.

  • Loadsingredients into main mixer from auxiliary mixers, hoppers, conveyors, scales, meters,bucketsor similar containers.

  • Ensures thatthe outerlayer of ingredient packaging is cleaned and removed prior touse.

  • Ensures that all necessary equipment needed for the next production run is ready, clean, and in working order prior to the start of that product.

  • Sets timers and programs on mixer or associated panels prior to starting the mixer.

  • Operates auxiliary equipment to hoist and dump dough for further processing.

  • Cleansthe mixerand maintains a clean work area on a daily basis.

  • Meets established goals andobjectivesas it relates to the consistency and materials needed

  • Sets outputs for the mixing area.

  • Ensures thatfinal productmeetscustomers' specifications as it relates to temperatures, dough consistency, and otherdough-relatedquality attributes.

  • Suggestways to control labor and supply costs as well as improve processes.

  • Ensures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with allappropriate legaland food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Champion a safe work environment by proactivelyidentifyingand reporting potential hazards.
    Gain valuable experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), enhancing your skills in quality, safety, and compliance.

  • Contribute continuous improvement ideas and suggestions to improve operational efficiency, safety, and quality.

  • Drive sustainability by promoting resource efficiency and activelyparticipatingin recycling and pollution prevention initiatives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The payrate is $20.97/hour with anadditionalshift premium forthe 2ndshift of $0.75/hour and 3rdshift of $1.25/hour.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts,required.

  • High School Diploma/GED, preferred.

  • 6+ months experience working in a production capacity such as manufacturing, agriculture, warehouse, industrial,militaryor related environmentpreferred especially within food manufacturing.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $20.97. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
