Responsibilities:

The Registrar is responsible for creating patient accounts within the Hospital Information System and serves as a key gatekeeper for accurate demographic data. This role verifies and validates information provided by patients at the time of service and ensures that medical record numbers are not duplicated, supporting patient safety and data integrity. The Registrar also delivers a high level of customer service while interacting with physicians, hospital departments, patients, and their families.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Less than one year experience in clerical office setting or in healthcare setting.

• One to two years customer service experience
